Cast Iron

Urns

The cast iron urn is the original "freeze-proof" flower pot. With origins in the manor house gardens of Victorian England, these classic vessels remain a favorite today, and are often found framing a front door or highlighting a floral vignette.

Our cast iron urns are carefully forged in a rustic workshop in China, using tools and techniques developed from centuries of tradition. These urns are rustic in their natures, and we encourage our customers to allow then to age and rust naturally.

Cast Iron

Urns

We like to say that "all of our cast iron urns are guaranteed to rust". Each pot is treated with an anti-rust coating before shipping, but this finish will wear off over time with exposure to the elements.

We believe that this process enhances the beauty of the material, but we also understand that not every share that aesthetic. If you would prefer to restore your cast iron planter to a "like new" finish, we suggest using Rust-oleum or a similar product.

  • All cast iron urns have drainage holes.
  • Cast iron planters are suitable for year-round outdoor use in all climates.
  • These flower pots WILL rust. While they are given an anti-rust treatment before shipment, we do not consider slight rust spots as defects.
  • All cast iron products have UPC stickers attached.
